Oil Painting

I studied charcoal pencil drawing and oil painting at an art gallery in Kaohsiung while living in Taiwan. I began with still life and figure drawing and progressed to landscape oil painting. I plan to continue painting while living in PEI.

First oil painting, completed December 2011

Glassblowing

Interior view of "Cane Vase"

I was introduced to glassblowing at Salem State University during my spring semester in 2007. I completed four undergraduate courses and assisted in teaching a beginner level course. During my last semester at SSC I did a graduate directed study in glass. I continued to expand my knowledge of glassblowing at the NOCA Glass School in Cambridge while living in the Boston area.

My artwork has been displayed at the Marblehead Farmers Market and I have been invited to the Emerson Umbrella Winter Market in Concord as a visiting artist for the past three years. I have also made commissioned pieces upon request. I will be posting selected images of my glass art below, and some items may be available for purchase. Please contact me for more information.
